Darrell was such a good friend. There was a small group of us that used to hang out in Belews Creek. I didn't live there long. But the friends I had were close. Darrell and the friends we had use to go to the drive-in on 158. Great hang out. Driving down the dirt roads you had to go real slow to keep from getting dirt on those just washed cars.
Yep they were care free days days out in the country. Sometimes I want to go back....
To Darrell's family, I am sorry that you lost him so soon. He was a great guy. The world needs more of them.
