MARTIN BURLINGTON Terry Grey Martin Sept. 27, 1954 - Sept. 21, 2011 Mr. Terry Grey Martin, 56, of NC Highway 119 passed away Wednesday September 21, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice. Born in Forsyth County on September 27, 1954 to Bobby Grey and Carolyn Sue Hiatt Martin, he had made this area his home for his entire life. He worked in commercial construction and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed any activity which involved being out of doors but particularly liked hunting turkey and deer, fishing, and running all types of heavy equipment. Surviving are his mother, Carolyn Sue Martin of Winston-Salem, son, Corey Trey Mitchell of Yadkinville, sister, Denise Atkins of Kernersville, brother, Mike Martin and fianc‚e Kim Mooney of Thomasville, nephew Seth Martin, and nieces, Megan Martin, Katie Atkins, and Jessica Atkins. Funeral services will be on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Wallburg with Rev. Harry Sammons officiating. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
