Worked with Jane at Western-Electric and BellSouth/ AT & T. She was a sweet , kind lady and will be missed. She always had a smile and a kind word to share. We had some good laughs at work  and shared the losses of our parents  there also. I know she loved her family and her dear sweet husband,  Richard... So now the love story continues . God bless you. Jane', til we see each other again. Love ya sweetie.

I didn't know Jane well in school - but the past 15 years or so, I used to see her often with her '72 husband (Richard Burton) at local area restaurants.   Richard died suddenly in 2009.   Each time I would see Jane after Richard's death - I would encourage her to attend alumni events.  Finally 'wore her down' somewhat, and she joined our class site last year.   When I chatted with her a couple of months ago about our 40th reunion - she did not let on then that she was battling cancer. I was both shocked, and saddened to have learned of her death.   She's reunited w/ her beloved Richard.  May they both Rest In Peace
