IN LOVING MEMORY
Dennis McNeill
I have a notation in our sophmore annual that Dennis died some time in 1972. I do not know the circumstances of his death at such a young age. I remember him as being shy, but friendly.
Updated 8/10/2010: Janice Thompson (Class of '72) confirmed Dennis lost his life in a car accident
Dennis will always hold a place in my heart. I remember the day I got the call from his mother that he had died in a car crash I felt like my world had ended. We were dating at the time and he was my 1rst true love. His mother told me that I would find someone else but she could`t get her son back. How true that was but at the time I didn't`t think so. He taught me how to drive his mustang a stick shift when I first got my learners permit and nearly backed over his moms tree. He was a kind and generous person and loved by many. I think what life would have been like if he had lived but God blessed me with a wonderful husband. Goodbye my love my friend

As I remember, Dennis was coming home from the beach when he was killed. He was in one of my classes and was a nice person.
