James DeMarcus Segers, 51, passed away at his home on Saturday, March, 2007 following an extended period of illness. He is survived by his wife, Evangelist Nancy Coltrane Segers of Tarboro, NC; two daughters, Erica L. Segers and Gabrielle Johnson all of Winston-Salem, NC; one son, Anderson Bynum of Wilson; his mother, Marilyn Geneva Segers; father, James Calvin Segers; sister, Marilyn Segers Kelly a niece, Kahlua Kelly of Raleigh, NC; a step-brother, Joshua H. Clayton; a devoted god-daughter, Tahara Moore of Winston-Salem, NC

I am so deeply sorry to learn about the passing of James. I attended East Forsyth with him and always found him to be a kind and considerate person. I remember his love for basketball and how people would yell and scream every time he scored points. Its good to know that our loved ones who die are only sleeping and that one day we will see them again by means of the resurrection. John 5:28-29. What a wonderful time that will be.. A real Family Reunion!! Rest in peace,, my friend.
