July 19, 1954 - August 3, 2019

Mr. Wilbert Clayton Collins, Sr. was born July 19, 1954 to the late Clarence and Nellie Wall Collins in Winston-Salem, NC where he was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. Mr. Collins served 15 years in the United States Navy and afterwards, he worked for the City of Winston-Salem where he retired. In the community he volunteered with the Samaritan Ministries. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Wilbert C. Collins, Jr.; sister, Barbara Ann Ballard; and brother, Clarence Collins. He departed this life August 3, 2019. He is survived by his wife of the home, Marvalene W. Collins; one son, Brian Collins; four grandchildren, Wilbert C. Collins, III, Aliciana Monet Collins, Kaseanti Nychele Collins, and Rayna Moore; siblings, Clara Anderson, Katie (Joseph) Thompkins, Roosevelt Collins, Mae H. Williams, Leroy (Shelly) Collins, Betty (Rev. Melvin) Nelums, Stanley (Angela) Collins, and Sheryl (Kevin) Gee; a devote frien Donald Darby Jr and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
