Floyd Chandler

 

 

Mr. Floyd Lee Chandler of 2115 White St., Winston-Salem, took his flight to be with his Master on Monday, Jan. 30, 2006. He was a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, born to Jacob Sr. and Lena M. Chandler. He was a 1976 graduate of East Forsyth High School and was employed with Wal-Mart. Floyd was a member of the Messiah's House Worship Center and served on the Usher Board. His father and his brother, Jacob Chandler Jr., preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Lean M. Chandler; two sons, Anthony Rucker and Russell Lee (Andrea) Mitchell; a daughter, Latasha Clark, all of Winston-Salem; a sister, LaVader (Terry) Orr; two brothers, Jerome (Vickie) Chandler and Larry (Deborah) Chandler, both of Winston-Salem; a sister-in-law, Debra Chandler, of Charlotte; seven grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at noon today, Feb. 4, at Messiah's House Worship Center, with Pastor Keifer Bradshaw officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
