LYCANS, Holly Marie Snapp Age 38, of Kettering, passed away June 2, 2015. She was born November 26, 1976. Holly was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She had more love to share than anyone would think possible. Holly is preceded in death by her grandmother Marilyn Hobbs and her daughter Shea. She is survived by her adoring husband Terry and her beautiful children Melia and Ryland, her twin sister Laura (Kurt) Brainard, nieces Evelynn and Caroline Marie, her mother Rebecca Rose, her father Don (Lisa) Snapp, her sister Lacey (Lenny) Cluley, nephew Nathan and nieces Erynn and Molly, her brothers Ian (Mary) Snapp and Evan Snapp, her in-laws Jasper and Jitsy Lycans, brother-in-law Andrew Lycans as well as many close friends and family. Holly was a lifelong resident of Kettering, OH who chose a career helping people with special needs. Holly poured her heart and soul into making a loving home for her family. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger; an artist who spent her free time creating pieces to fill the lives and homes of those she loved; a free spirit who loved nature, gardening, a great bargain and anything that sparkles and shines. Holly's glowing smile immediately lit up the room and warmed you like the sunshine. She loved to dance and be silly with her children while also taking the time to teach them about love, life and good morals. She had an infectious giggle that turned into roaring laugh, which, like her smile, was completely contagious. Holly was so full of life and had a heart of pure gold. Holly created a big, beautiful and loving extended family through her closeness to others. Her supportive attitude made her the preferred cheerleader for everyone who knew her. The family would like to give a very heartfelt thank you to the community for all of the amazing support received through Holly's Hope. Holly felt every bit of your love as she fought so bravely. She survived Leukemia and a bone marrow transplant, but in the end her immune system was no longer able to fight the battle. Her spirit will continue to survive in all of our hearts. She will be loved and deeply missed by her family and friends.
