When my children were small our dog got hit by a car (my car). Its was in July and very dry, I could'nt dig deep enough in the ground to get the dog buried and the children and I were very upset. I called the city to see if there was a place to bury dogs in town hoping someone could help me... long story short I ended up somewhere near the big water tower near Mac's store drove back in there and there stood Kenny... he had on an orange vest and I got out with the dog in my arms.. He took it and said that it would have a proper burial not to worry and he smiled so kind... I got back in the car and went to console the kids and told them a good friend was taking care of the dog and it was gone to heaven... Rest in Peace sweet Kenny and your buddy Nannook.....
Kenny (Flake as we all knew him) was such a great guy. I never saw a time when someone needed him that he wasn't there. He had a way about him that made you comfortable immediately. Don't forget that sense of humor he always kept. He was my best friend in high school. I still miss him today and always will. Rest in peace Kenny.
Kenny Downey Was a good friend and we were lab partners in Mr.Speight's class in JR high where we built a working volcano, I will never forget the look on Kenny's face when we set it off, he was a trip.
