Melissa Marie Davis Kern passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, September 23, 2018.

The family will receive friends at Trinity Memorial (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport,TN.) on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., with funeral services at 8:00 P.M.  Graveside service will be Friday, October 5, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to be serving the family of Melissa Kern.

August 10, 2017: Please pray for us and our family. I was told yesterday that my Papaw Russ has about 1-2 weeks to live. He will soon be with Jesus and my Mamaw Edith.

My Mother in law Melissa Kern is very sick. She's been sick since May.

She's in a nursing home. She's had seizures that have damaged her brain. Nurses have to care for all of her needs. Some days she can communicate with us and some days she doesn't recognize or remember Rebecca or her brothers.

Melissa is only 57 years old. Life can change in an instant. It breaks our hearts to see her like this. We want her to get back to her Sassy and bubbly self.

We are trying to raise money for My mother in law Melissa Kern.
