WOW! After I graduated from Texas A&M, I liked Bryan/College Station so much I stayed until 2000. I worked as a youth and family counselor.
I moved to Colorado to attend graduate school at CSU - Denver (M.Ed. in Human Resource Development - a degree I enjoyed but will never use!) :) Played "professional" women's football in Colorado Springs for a season (that was fun!)
Moved to Whidbey Island, WA for a year and enjoyed the beautiful Northwest. (I was blessed with the opportunity to house-sit a million $ home on the water with white-capped mountain views and an eagle's nest in the backyard.) Then, I missed TX & my family and returned to reality... Houston!
At 34, I finally met my partner, Rachel, and settled down in Katy. I met Rachel through an old family friend and it was love at first sight. The fact that she knew my deceased mom is very special to me.
Professionally, two degrees later, I starting selling real estate and it took off. (Crazy, I know. But do what works...)
Now the best part, a dream come true, my son Jack was born in '06 and my daughter Jaci was born in '09. I love being a Mom!
