My heart hurts, my mind is in disarray and I'm just shocked! I pray for our  classmates and VK' s family. Though I'm so proud of the closeness '79 shares and the resiliency we seem to embody I battle with the frequency we've gone through such. But, I thank each and everyone of you sincerely for the vibrancy , genuiness and dedication you've shared  in responding and propping each other up in our times of demise. I and my family are blessed, not lucky, to be a part of such an illustrious group of wonderful human beings. VK was cousin, neighbor, Sunday school mate, junior choir member, "kindergarten and middle school  walk home mate"  , KHs bus rider - 76c . Then after our school graduation we went our separate ways in life really didn't get to share as often as  I was use to. But through our AWESOME reunions this website has kept us peering into each other's lives. Thank you John Grimes and all who've worked so hard to keep this medium of exchange available over the years.
My prayers are for Valentino's family, God's covering and comfort in this difficult time. And may God continue to bless the class of KHS 1979.

Love ya'll,  for real I do !!

First let me say condolences and deepest sympathy extended to the family.  This one has really gotten to me. VK and I were chatting via FB messenger when he had went home after being in the ER. I recall him saying, "My winter fat reserve is keeping me going. Lol". He fought so darn hard to beat it. God took the pain and suffering away. Now we must do our best to stay SAFE and healthy. I think Valentino would want this. He was from up the hill, Georgetown. Rest In Peace classmate. β€οΈπŸ™πŸΎπŸ˜’

First I like to echo everything Derek Moe has stated about VK.  I truly believe the Vikings has lost another super hero, my friend “VK”.  VK has transition from earth to Glory TO BE WITH THE LORD.  To his family,I say “be empowered in the Lord and in the strength of His might..Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;and lean not to your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge God and He will direct your path. The Lord will wipe every tear from your eyes.  To the class of 79” I am reminded that weeping may endure for night but joy cometh in the morning.

We all love VK, but God loves him best.  Remember; It is not goodbye but so long my brother, till we meet again.  I salute you. Rest In Peace.
