Roscoe Berry, 48, of 2223 Briarfield Road, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Loftin Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Survivors include daughters April Christine Berry of Kinston, Latriee N. Russell of Fort Stewart, Ga.; sons Michael Cotton of Kinston, Roscoe Berry Jr. of Raleigh; mother Pastor Christine Powell of Kinston; sister Linda K. Newbern of Kinston; brothers Kefauver R. Berry and Lynwood J. Bryant both of Kinston, Frazier Bryant of Greenville; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be held prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
