I continue to work in broadcasting, currently for WVTF Public Radio. It's the National Public Radio station that serves Virginia Tech and I reported on the 32 students and faculty members killed by a gunman in 2007. I was interviewed by TV and radio stations across the world.
I continue acting, in community theater and in movies. "The Trailer Park" is a small independent film shot in Roanoke and is due to come out sometime this year.
I volunteer as a puppy raiser/trainer for St. Francis Service Dogs (www.saintfrancisdogs.org). We raise and train Labs and Goldens to help the disabled and children with autism. I have had pictures of these dogs and dogs with the local SPCA win awards in local contests
