Jeff Wollaston

Jeffrey L. "Jeff" Wollaston, of Knox, passed from this life to the next at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at the Golden Living Center in Shippenville, surrounded by his loving family.

Born April 4, 1961, in Warren, he was the son of George F. and Twila M. Hedagor Wollaston.

Jeff graduated from Keystone High School in Knox in 1979. He received a bachelor of science degree in physics from Clarion University in 1987.

He became the owner-operator of Jr.'s Service Center in Knox in 1993.

Jeff was a member of the Rod and Gun Club of Emlenton where he enjoyed various shooting activities.

He enjoyed sled riding with his buddies, hunting, walks in the woods with his dog Milo Gabriel, Steelers games and John Wayne movies. He also loved to hang around his home with family and friends.

On July 2, 1982, he married Lori L. Eisenhuth, and she survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Angelia Wollaston of Knox and her friend, Jared Dehart of Callensburg, and Jessica Wollaston of Knox and her friend, Zachary Yonlisky of Kossuth; his parents, Dr. George and Twila Wollaston of Shippenville; one sister, Teriann Rankin and her husband, Jeff, and their daughter, Emilee, of Rimersburg; and two brothers, Edward Wollaston of Pearland, Texas, and Timothy Wollaston of Shippenville.

Additional survivors include his in-laws, Junior and Mary Eisenhuth of Knox; two sisters-in-law, Penny Carpenter and her husband, Randy, and their daughter, Stacey, of New Castle, and Sharon Heeter and her husband, Merle "Bud", of Knox; and two nieces, Amanda Meisel and her husband Andrew, of Knox, and Alysha Heeter of Knox.

Jeff was preceded in death by a niece, Amber Heeter.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the David C. McEntire Funeral Home Inc., 504 East Penn St., Knox, where the family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Friday.

The Rev. Charles Campbell, pastor of New Zion E.C. Church, Emlenton RD1, will officiate at the service.

The family suggests memorials be made to New Zion E.C. Church, Emlenton RD1, 16373; or the Cancer Center of Clarion Hospital, 1 Hospital Drive, Clarion, PA, 16214.

Jeff  will be remembered with the smile you always had, we had great times in high school and college.  I wish Laurie and your daughters peace and wellness.

I remember a Catheryn Hepburn movie, at the end she says- remember me with smiles and laughter. This is the way i will remember Jeff.
