A few months ago I was looking for some photos of my husbands childhood for his celebration of life and ran across this website. I'm final getting around to updating you that Bill passed away September 4, 2015 at our home in Upland from Cancer.

So sorry to hear about Bill Springer's passing, and thank you Constance for letting us know.
"Billy" Springer started out at La Canada Elementary School, like so many of us. Blond hair, blue eyes, sweet guy--didn't he play baseball at LCHS?
Classmates may be interested to know that current La Canada residents boast the greatest longevity of any community in LA County. Unfortunately, (from that standpoint) I moved to Marin County 2 years ago!

I was very saddened to read this post about Bill Springer's passing. I enjoyed having him as a classmate. I remember him as a happy go lucky guy who was always nice to be around. A bright spot in the class. My condolences to your family. RIP Bill.

So sorry to hear of Billy's passing. We grew up a couple of blocks from each other on Flanders Rd. We enjoyed playing sports (Billy was always way better than I was). We also played on the Edison property bordering their house...we'd find "foxholes" and pretend to be army guys throwing dirt clods at each other. In retrospect, it's amazing that someone didn't lose an eye. He brought much happiness to my life and I'm glad that he was my friend. May the Lord bless you in his absence.
