Probably a bit late but for those going to the track today in the fifth race, Heavenly N'Free is running and has a good shot. I recommend $5.00 on the nose. ozzy

I took some pictures, not many, which can be viewed at webshots under my id which is reedstar. Or this link should go to it:

I went down to Oak Grove Park, and was impressed over how little that, as opposed to most everything else, has changed. It also seemed reminiscent of A Midsummer Night's Dream, particularly the aspects of separation from the regular world, the forest, and the beauty.

I surprised myself and had a good time at the reunion; even getting through it without putting my foot in my mouth too many times. Thanks to everyone who organized it, it really worked.

Last night was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who did all the planning and hard work, especially Sue for her beautiful home, Kendel for the great photo display, Kathy for setting up the web site and everyone for coming and having a good time. We are holding up pretty well. Last night must have been my record for retrieving long-term memories. Looking forward to photos.

To put an event together with multiple venues is not an easy task. Thank you, thank you, to the planners who gave their all to make this reunion memorable. You truly succeeded. Everything came together like clock work, and for two days it was practically non-stop. I'm sure we all had a wonderful time catching up, and reliving our youthful years at LCHS. Thanks again and maybe we will see each other at a 45th??

Thank you to the organizers and to Sue in particular. You did us all a really big favor. And, thank you to everyone who attended. Somehow I find that the evening gave me a real attitude lift. I think it is a result of five hours visiting with positive, interesting people who have taken a good start and made the most of it. God bless you all.

I think that this was the most organized, beautiful, fun reunion we've ever had. Thank you to our wonderful committee: Bear, Boccalero, Brown, Cortright, Daugherty, Frase (we missed you Kandi), Hueners,Inge, Kisacky, Kline, Monteleone, Samuelson (Gail & Lynda!). Every activity was so well planned & obviously took hours of work to make it so perfect for all of us. Susie: your hospitality was beyond incredible. Thank you. And last-but absolutely not least-if we hadn't had Ms. Brodie bringing us all back together starting last February & still updating the website, even today, it wouldn't have been what it was: the best. Thank you all-Robin & Paul

Good gracious.. how could such a fun time come off so well as did Friday and Saturday nights? The planning and coordination achieved by the 40th reunion committee was absolutely superb. As everyone is saying...Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
It's amazing that 40 years ago we parted as classmates to set out to conqueer the world. With all that has happened since then, it was truly remarkable to look back and revisit our youth. A visit with Sandy Struthers brought back the fact that we actually started school together at Oak Grove in the 1st grade, my gosh, that had to be almost 55 years ago. Kevin Garvey, John Reed and I made 3 out of the 4 members of an award winning relay team. And Karen Stanley was always there to record our times. Seeing Jessica Potter brought me back to our time together in "Our Town". Wow.. I could go on and on.... and so could everyone else in attendance.

I'm already very excited about our 45th...and for those of you who missed this one ????? Don't miss the next one.

Thank all of you who participated in putting together our amazing reunion. Thank you to Sue for being such a lovely hostess and letting us use her fabulous house as a gathering place.
It was so much fun!
And again, thank you Kathy B. for this incredible website.
I propose that when we do the 45th we make it an all day and night affair!

I am still recovering from the non-stop talking event of the year...as everyone else has stated...what a great reunion. The class of '69 is truly a unique and amazing group of individuals. I don't think the committee could have improved the weekend one bit...it was perfect. A million thanks to everyone who was on the committee and of course a special thank you to Susie and opening her beautiful home to all of us. As Robin said...this reunion was the best of all of them and it's obvious we don't need a company planning a fun time for us held in a huge hotel banquet room. Looking forward to more gatherings with our wonderful class. In the meantime, those of us who know of people that didn't make it...we'll need to work hard to find them to get them to the next reunion.

We had a great evening in Dana Point on Saturday 2/20! I wanted to thank Linda Samuelson for making it such a warm and comfortable environment at the yacht club. Thank you Kathy Brodie for ensuring the party continues on! And I look forward to seeing you all July 31 in Carlsbad!

Bruce Brown has posted a picture of "The Troubadors" at the bottom of his site. I think @ the next reunion we should have a "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" competition. (Thank you Fenwick  English & Phil  Gross for getting our bands started)

A delightfully unique group of people gathered together Friday, Saturday and  Sunday.

Perhaps some of us only shared a glance in a hallway during a fleeting moment in time years back. But that moment, that smile or kind word sent out energy to the universe in ways I personally soaked up  this weekend.  Thank you for that.

Thanks to Bruce and Kathie for their time and energy and generosity in bringing a bunch of great people together. Thank each of you for sharing a bit of your lives and success', tears, fears and hopes.

Hey! Where'd everybody go? I'm ready for 2019, and Obama was just hanging new drapes in the White House the last time anyone posted anything on this Forum. Wha-zup? wink
