Kevin Lee Comeau, 35, of Woodbridge, VA, and formerly of La Crescent, died as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, March 4, 2001. He was born in Arcadia, WI, on Feb. 25, 1966, to Frederick A. and Sandra J. (Nohr) Comeau. Kevin graduated from La Crescent High School in 1984. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served in the Persian Gulf War.
Kevin lived life to the fullest. He loved heavy metal music and regularly sang karaoke with his friends. Kevin had worked the past few years as a supervisor at the Pizza Outlet restaurants in Woodbridge and Burke, VA. In 2000, he started delivering free pizzas to children at the Homelessness Prevention Center one Saturday each month.
Kevin is survived by his father, Frederick Comeau of Postville, Iowa; his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Richard Larson of La Crescent; one sister, Kristy Loomis; and one brother, Erin (Jane) Comeau, both of La Crescent; one stepsister, Jennifer (Gabe) Gonzales of Alvin, Texas; his paternal grandmother, Jane Comeau; his maternal grandparents, Conrad and Lucille Nohr, of La Crosse; andtwo nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harry Comeau.
