She was born to Guy and Clara Lorraine (Batdorf) Nordberg on August
28, 1958, in Grand Rapids, Minn. Brenda married Michael Morley (me)
on January 14, 2003, after being set-up at a class reunion.
My bride was a loving and caring person with a similar, if off the wall,
sense of humor. She had many interests; some fleeting, some maddening,
like knick-knacks, but many others we shared like fishing, kayaking,
biking, painting, and crocheting among others. I loved her changings.
Family meant a lot to Brenda. She is survived by her son, Keith Bolduan;
her parents, Guy and Lorraine; sisters, Kay Nordberg, Sue (Alan) Larson
and Diane (Bill) Wagner; grandchildren, Kiara, Tristan, and Serenity, and
their mother, Jessica; brothers-in-law, Jamie (Joan) Morley, Chris
(Krystin) Morley, Mark (Jane) Morley; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Brian Bolduan.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, at 11:00 a.m., at
the Church of the Crucifixion in La Crescent. Rev. Gregory Havel will
officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Crucifixion Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation
Services of La Crescent, 111 South Oak St., on Monday from 5:00 until
7:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of
services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift in Brendas

Brenda would have liked to thank the many people from La Crescent and
surrounding communities for their support and, very importantly, prayers
during this very trying time. God Bless you all! In a time of much turmoil,
world and personal, you realize theres so much good still present among us.
