Tamara “Tammy” Jayne Olson, 58, of La Crescent, MN passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. She was born in La Crosse on November 28, 1958 to Doral and Joan Olson. Tammy graduated in 1977 from La Crescent High School. She is survived by her 2 sons, Ryan of Wausau, WI and Cody of Dakota, MN; her grandchildren, Sam, Tyler and Sage; her 3 sisters, Becky Olson, Debbie (Jeff) Olson, and Kelly (Steve) Topp of La Crescent; nieces Annaliise, Krista, and Turena, nephews Ben and Michael; and her special lifelong friend, James Wagner. She is preceded in death by her parents, Doral and Joan. Tammy had the unique gift to connect with all of those that came into her life. She would listen with an empathic, compassionate, and non judgmental heart. The first time that you met her you became instant friends. She will be remembered for this and the generosity and kindness she showed to so many. A private family service will be held at a later date.
