Bob Frappier

Robert A. "Bubba" Frappier, 50, of Onalaska died suddenly on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center.

He was born in La Crosse on Nov. 9, 1958, to Donald and Elanore (Witt) Frappier.

Bubba enjoyed his life, just ask any of his friends. He was an avid Vikings fan; anyone who knew Bubba could vouch for that. Whether it was football season or not, he was all Vikings.

Bubba was a graduate of La Crescent (Minn.) High School, a member of American Legion Post 336 of Onalaska and the 40 et 8. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Desert Storm and was a member of the National Guard out of Onalaska.

Bubba leaves behind his loving family and significant other; his children, Candace and Justin Frappier; his grandson, Trevin Frappier; his sisters, Arlene Moore of La Crescent, Mary (Bob) Verdick of La Crosse, and Karen (Craig) Banasik of Stoddard; his brothers, Dennis Frappier and James Frappier, both of Madison, and Richard Frappier of La Crosse; and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his loving companion, Margaret "Midge" Klonecki, and her family, Wendy Olson and Phil, Deanna and Troy Johnson, Lisa Olson, and Jim and Missy Klonecki; and her 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Edward; and one sister, Corrine Aanas.

A memorial service was at Olivet Lutheran Church, La Crosse. Buried in Crucifixion Cemetery in La Crescent.
