LA CRESCENT, Minn. - Joann J. "JoJo" Harlos, 52, of La Crescent, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center

La Crosse. She was born in Lake City, Minn., on Jan. 16, 1958, to Albert Hoffman and Mary Ann Dankwardt. She married Mike Harlos at the La Crescent United Methodist Church in La Crescent on Nov. 7, 1980. JoJo worked as a daycare provider for many years and her children were her greatest passion. She truly loved them as her own.

In addition to her husband, Mike, JoJo is survived by her son, Jeff (Katy Olson) Harlos of La Crescent; her mother, Mary Ann (George) Conway of La Crescent; three sisters, Sue (Jeff) Liebsch and their son Erik Hoffman of La Crescent, Mary (Mark) Papenfuss of La Crescent, Amy (Rick) Magnuson of La Crosse. She is further survived by her step-mother, Pearl Hoffman and their extended families. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert.
