In Memory

Linda Harnisch (Olson)

Linda Mae Olson, 58, of La Crosse passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Mulder Health Care Facility in West Salem. She was born in La Crescent, Minnesota on April 14, 1959 to Harold and Marilyn (Diekrager) Harnisch. On April 15, 1989 Linda married Dale O. Olson and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2009. Linda courageously faced a one year battle with pancreatic cancer. Although she tried to beat this cancer, she was unsuccessful after many attempts. Linda enjoyed many things throughout her life, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing cards, shaking dice, grilling out, cooking for holiday gatherings, and caring for her pets who were just as much her kids as the ones she raised. She was a very caring person and she was always willing to help out family and strangers. She will be very missed. Linda is survived by her mother, Marilyn; two daughters, Trena (Terry) Larson and Jessica (Jess) Crocker; a son, Jeremy Frappier; seven grandchildren, Dylan Crocker, Tinell, Teana, and Erin Larson, Westin (Kayla) Larson, and Riley and Reid Frappier; a sister, Ruth (John) Meltzer; and two brothers, Bill and Paul Harnisch.
