Robert H. Kallenbach, Jr., 45 of 1934 Fannell Dr., La Crosse, died on February 15, 1993, at his home, after a long battle with cancer. He was born on February 15, 1948, in La Crosse, to Robert and Dolores (Moulis) Kallenbach, Sr. Bob had served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in 1968 and 1969, where he received numerous awards and citations including the National Defense Service Medal; the Vietnam Service Medal; the Vietnam Combat Medal; two Overseas Service Bars; and the Purple Heart Medal. He had worked at G. Heileman Brewing Co., for 17 years until he was forced to retire due to illness. He was also a member of G. Heileman Local 1081 of La Crosse.
He is survived by his mother, Dolores Kallenbach of La Crosse; one sister, Margorie Kallenbach of La Crosse; his Godmother, Eldora Panschow of La Crosse; his Godfather, Albert Freybler of La Crosse and many relatives, close friends and coworkers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert H. Kallenbach, Sr., on Janaury, 1993.
He was buried at the CAtholic Cemetery with military rites by the Vietnam Veterans Association Chapter 114 of La Crosse.
