Michael L. Stolder

Michael L. Stolder, 23, of Minneapolis, formerly of La Crosse and Chaseburg, died Tuesday, August 17, 1971, at his residence, of undetermined causes.

The Minneapolis medical examiner conducted an autopsy, but the report was not complete at the time of the obituary.

Services were at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Coon Valley and were officiatied bythe Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thomas Halloran.  Burial was in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, La Crosse.

Gilbertson-Seland Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

He was born July 30, 1948, to Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Stolder in La Crosse.  He graduated from Aquinas High School in 1966 and from La Crosse State University in 1970.  He was employed as a baker in Minneapolis.

He is survived by his parents in Chaseburg; two brothers, Thomas and Steven, at home; five sisters, Patricia and Mary of Madison, Jane, Susan and Linda, at home; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Neururer of La Crosse.
