My memories of Betsy were sweet------- that we tried out for the Dance Club together, she could sew just about anything, she could cook like a chef and she had a gentle soul. I was so sad to here of her disease and her passing.    Lisa

Betsy was a childhood friend and neighbor of mine.  We played dolls together in her playhouse, hula hooped, roller skated, skateboarded, and went to the Municipal Pool.  We had so much fun together.

By the high school years, her familly moved and we didn't have any classes together at Central, so we didn't see each other much.   I was always looking foward to us getting together after we had children and meeting each others families.

That, I'm sorry to say didn't happen.  Betsy passed away on July 26, 1996 of ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in Racine, WI.  She was married and had two sons, James and William.

I have a beautiful seashell that she brought back for me on one of her vacations, that I will always treasure.  She used to tell me to put it by my ear, and I could hear the ocean.

Love You and Miss You Betsy!
