Thomas C. Eckhardt, age 42, of 11408 Geist Bluff Circle, Indianapolis, Indiana, and formerly of La
Crosse, died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 21, 1993 in Newport News, VA.

Thomas was born May 26, 1950, to Carl and Cecelia (Stackowitz) Eckhardt. He was in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971 and served in the U.S. and Germany. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. He was employed by the Defense, Finance and Accounting Service-Indianapolis Center, Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (George) Eckhardt of Indianapolis, two daughters, Amber Walters and Michelle Reinhardt; two grandchildren, Darrin Scott and Randi Nichola Walters; mother, Cecelia Eckhardt of La Crosse; a brother, Jack Eckhardt of Minneapolis, MN; and a sister Barbara Eckhardt of La Crosse. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Blaschke Funeral Home, 401 West Ave., So., La Crosse, with Pastor Burdett Wakeman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 1:30 until the time of services. The body will be cremated.
