Mark J. Hines, 28, of 1204 Horton St., died Saturday, October 14, 1978 in an Eau Claire hospital due to an acute coronary artery occlusion.

He was born May 31, 1950 in Madison to Bruce and Esther (Walker) Hines. Survivors are his parents of La Crosse; three brothers, David of La Crosse, and Derek and Richard, both at home; and his paternal grandfather, Boyd Hines of Cumberland.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the South Side Blaschke Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen W. Townsend will officiate. His body will be cremated. Friends may call at the funeral home today after 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the services. Memorials may be given to the St. Francis Hospital and Lutheran Hospital Foundations.
