Clarence A. Bushek, 32, of Rt. 1, La Crosse, died Sunday, May 3, 1981, of injuries suffered in a car-truck accident on Hwy. 53 near the intersection with Hwy NA in the county of La Crosse. He was born March 11, 1949 to Clarence & Mina (Lentini) Bushek. He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving with the Marine Corps.

Survivors are his parents of La Crosse; four sisters, Mrs. Daryl (Pamela) Sather of Minneapolis, Mrs. Steven (Deborah) Wekkin of Hudson, Mrs. Michael (Elizabeth) Brueske of La Crosse, & Michelle Bushek, at home; seven brothers, Paul of Kenosha, Patrick of Eau Claire, John of Minneapolis, Rodney & Mark, both of La Crosse, Daniel of Woodstock, Ill., & Jeff, at home; his paternal grandfather, Gus Bushek of La Crosse, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ida Lentini of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony, his paternal grandmother, and his maternal grandfather.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Ridge Catholic Church. The Rev. Peter J. Butz will officiate and burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery, La Crosse, with military rites by American Legion Post 52. Friends may call at the church today from 7 to 9 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 8 p.m. The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, La Crosse, is in charge of arrangements.
