James ‘Jim’ Robert Wozniak, 63, of Boise, Idaho, previously of La Crosse died Jan. 5, 2014 in a Boise hospital. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Bowman Funeral Parlor in Garden City is assisting the family.

I spoke with Jim in 2011 when he returned to La Crosse from Boise. He said his family had been getting together each year around Mother's Day. He said he had a good job in Boise and was living with his girlfriend. He seemed like the same Jim I'd known since elementary school. So glad I had one last opportunity to catch up with him. He was a dear friend.
