Lisa Marie Beyersdorf

GOODHUE, Minn. - Lisa Marie Beyersdorf, 40, of Rural Goodhue, formerly Lisa Marie Johnson of La Crosse, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at her residence in rural Goodhue.

She was born Aug. 25, 1963, in La Crosse to LeRoy and Eileen (Hohlfeld) Schroeder. She graduated from Central High School in La Crosse in 1981. She married Scott Johnson at Grace Lutheran Church in La Crosse on July 11, 1981. She remained at home with their two daughters. Scott was killed an automobile accident in March 1987. She then married Scott Beyersdorf on July 23, 1988, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in La Crosse. They had four more children. They moved to Goodhue in July 2001. She had been battling cancer since 1994. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Goodhue. She enjoyed her children, shopping, interior decorating, animals and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Scott; four daughters, Kristina Beyersdorf, Emily Beyersdorf, Stephanie Beyersdorf, and Melanie Beyersdorf; two sons, Benjamin Beyersdorf, and Cody Beyersdorf; one granddaughter, Kileigh Beyersdorf, all of Goodhue; mother, Eileen Schroeder; two brothers, Steven (Lottie) Schroeder, and Gordon (Sherrie) Schroeder; two sisters, Linda (Gary) Fossum, and Laurie (Randy) Erler, all of La Crosse; two sisters-in-law, Julie Schroeder of Littleton, Colo., and Christine Beyersdorf of Evansville, Wis.; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald (Sybilla) Beyersdorf of Oregon, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her father, LeRoy; two brothers, Dennis Schroeder and Gerald Schroeder; and her first husband Scott Johnson.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Goodhue, with the Rev. Andrew Krause officiating. Burial will be at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park in La Crosse at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Gordon Schroeder, Steven Schroeder, Randy Erler, and Gary Fossum.
