Jerry Jerome Gillean of Villanow passed away in Savannah on February 12, 2014.  He was 50.

He was preceded in death by his parents Earlene and Donald Pilcher.  

Born May 14, 1963, he was born to hunt, travel the country, cook, charm, humor and entertain those around him.  He never met a stranger.

Despite his roots and love of the Georgia mountains, he thoroughly enjoyed his travels as a long-haul trucker.

He was an avid hunter; his fondest memories being with his lifelong best friend, Leland O'Bryant.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Larry Yaughn; a niece, Kori; a nephew, Heath; Cortney Martin with whom he had a special father/daughter relationship; aunts, uncles, Rollins cousins; his beloved pet "Rowdy"; and many longtime friends who loved him dearly.

A private ceremony will be held to honor his life.
