I shipped off to basic training just few weeks after graduation and spent the next six years on and off active duty while attending North Ga. College. I graduated from NGC in 1996 with a B.S. in Biology and joined my new wife Kari in Boone, N.C. where she was attending graduate school. While in Boone I began a culinary career that led me from country club to bed and breakfast and eventually to an executive club in Atlanta in 1999. Kari and I now live in Gainesville, Ga where she is a research scientist and I operate my own rental property business, stay with our son Ellis during the day, and work as a chef at night.
