Important Fun Reunion Update:

Hi, Classmates! 
When we first started this reunion planning process, more than 300 of you responded you would attend a reunion if we planned one for this year. Based on that, Shay Drennan-Love, Samantha Asher Duke and I booked both levels of the new CHI Memorial Stadium and began planning to accommodate the group. 
As we approach our reservation deadline of August 20, we currently are nearing 200 confirmed reservations for the upcoming reunion. 
Based on that number, we are able to combine the reunion activities into only the upper VIP Executive Club level at the  stadium! 
The band will be set up upstairs and all the yummy food and drinks will be served upstairs. The football games will be on the TVs. Our favorite 80s classics will be played until the band starts, during their set breaks and until 11:30 pm while we’re cleaning up and finishing our catching up. 

Please make sure to make your paid reservation with Shay before next Saturday, August 20. This will enable us to give our final number to the stadium President and Head Chef for food and drinks prep and service. 

Also,  please reach out to your friends who aren’t on social media with a little reminder and this update also. 

Please dress comfortably and get ready for fun/dancing/pics/catching up! 
Bring your yearbooks and pictures to share! I have my 1980,81,82 and 83 yearbooks to bring.

The ladies and I have been working on a yummy menu for our September 3 reunion with bbq and nachos stations with all the “fixins”, gulf shrimp skewers, bacon wrapped scallops, chicken tenders, garlic buttered focaccia bread with home made pimento cheese, spinach and artichoke dip, charcuterie boards and much more!

I’ll post more details about the menu for the evening after my meeting with the stadium director.

One thing I KNOW is we usually order our large gulf shrimp and pork buttes to smoke about three weeks in advance. That’s next week!!!

So I can make sure the menu is secure for our special items, I’m asking if everyone who knows they’re coming, and can pay this week, to go ahead and reserve/pay this week so our numbers will be closer to the actual attendees and our yummy goodness will be plentiful!

We’re planning for 200 at the moment because several of you who said you were coming in the original planning posts haven’t reserved/paid yet.
