Bruce and I were close friends from our pre-school days. I spoke with him, by phone, on his birthday one year ago this week. He was having a "good" day in the midst of chemotherapy treatments, and hopeful that the treatments would be successful. Sadly, he passed away less than two months later.
Bruce is remembered for his success as a chartered accountant, and for his academic achievments at the University of Manitoba (BSc, Master of Ag Engineering), and the University of Lethbridge (Management accounting). In both Universities he finished with the highest marks in his class.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Mae, 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
Always quiet, Bruce lived his life in service to others. All of us who knew him are better because of his influence in our lives.
