My life, or choice portions thereof, since 1961! Went to Bennett for college. Got sick and had to drop out.
Worked at McKnight nursery school .... More…Andy Rouse was in my class. Yes that is Susan's little brother. It was very difficult having Mrs. Rouse. come in for parent teacher conference !
I was diagnosed with lupus after I had Brucie, and went it a flare after Bill was born, after Edie. Became active in the lupus St. Louis Chapter . A National Foundation was created.I volunteered as the head of their Public relations, then I took on Government relations so spent a good deal of time in Washington.... Testified before Congress to increase NIH for $ for lupus as well as getting the regulations for Disability. Became involved with the National Psoriasis Foundation and was the Chairman of their Board for several years. Developed and Chaired the National Coalition for Skin disease research. I then server on the NIH National Institute or Arthritis, Musculoskeletal, and Skin Diseases. I the on to the Committee of Public Representatives which gave input to the Director of the NIH.
Now I have turned into a slug, and I am VERY GOOD at that. I finally found my true calling.
In the slug part of my life my great joy is being a Grandmother.

Because I never learned to type ,and am still the master of creative spelling. [There are times my spell check can't figure out what I'm trying to write] Soooo additional thoughts, comments, or observations would take me about a zillion hours.
