Susan and I had gone to elementary school together at Le Conte in Berkeley when we first met. Her mother was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and we shared that. I was at her first wedding in Alameda and her mother surprised everyone by coming down the aisle carrying a baby, Susan's younger sister, as I recall. At least that's how I remember it.
I believe Susan was married to Marc Parker and living in Diamond Springs in the Sierras or nearby at the time of her death. When I last visited with her, I learned that she had had quite a colorful life. I believe she had been a belly dance for a while. She was a designer and maker of costumes for dancing at the time. I am searching for an obituary for her.
