I just heard from Nisa Butler that Jerry passed away on Sunday 4-21-13. A month or so ago they discovered that he had kidney cancer and it had spread throughout his body.
Nisa asked if I could pass along all this info to be posted on our Class web site and on our email list.
There will be a service Sat May 4th at 1pm.

Gerald Butler, 67, passed away on April 21, 2013. He was born April 25, 1945 in Oakland to Glenn and Marjorie Butler.
After high school, Jerry served in the United States Army. Following his discharge, he worked for Shell Oil Co. in Martinez and then enjoyed being a truck driver for 35 years.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nisa Butler; his daughter Jennifer Hansen (Jeff) of Napa. His son Chris Butler (Erin) of Union City, NJ. His grandchildren Ashley Hansen, Tyler Hansen, Jackson Butler and Harrison Butler. His sister Gayle Martin of Pittsburg, CA.
Resident of Napa for 41 years, Jerry and Nisa enjoyed traveling with the Golden Gate Coaches R.V. Club. Jerry also enjoyed fishing, camping and old cars.
