Birth: Mar. 9, 1944 Mineola Nassau County New York, USA Death: Jan. 8, 2008 Danville Contra Costa County California, USA [Edit Dates] Robert Edwin Dade, a resident of Danville, passed away suddenly Jan. 8 in San Ramon at the age of 63. He was born March 9, 1944, in Mineola, N.Y. He graduated from Acalanes High School and Chico State University, and served as a captain in the U.S. Army for four years. He was a successful contractor and business owner for 37 years and had recently retired. He enjoyed boating with family and friends and was a member of the Benicia Yacht Club. He is survived by his wife Margaret; his five children Rob, Bryanne (Jeremy), Michael (Debbie), Patrick and Brendan (Crystal); three grandchildren; his brother John; sister Margo (Bob); brothers-in law Seamus (Tula), Maurice, Patrick and Richard (Colleen); sister-in-law Mary (Eamon); mother-in-law Alice O'Reilly and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Jan. 11 at Community Presbyterian Church in Danville. Donations may be made to the Christian Children's Fund, 2821 Emerywood Parkway, P.O.
