Richard died exactly (to the day) 50 years after we met getting ready to perform Oaklahoma in '62 at Acalanes. He was the hardest working man I ever met. He served in the army in Korea during the Viet Nam war. He graduated Cal Poly, SLO (with honors) with a business major. He worked for Libbys, EPRI, Magic Pan and then several Banks employed him. Later in life he worked at two different Home improvement Centers. We had 3 sons, he was a hands-on father who loved to show off his babies. He adored animals and leaves me with 7 dogs, 3 cats and a bird. Stuck in the country with the "barkers" (Not happy about that!) He was a Keeper and so I kept him! We miss him much. He just died last week-end (cancer).
