Son of Elorian and Stella (Ruiz) Felix. His Aklan record says he was an Industrial Arts major who liked working on cars and planned to enter the service. He did serve in the Air Force in Korea. He may have married three times, to Donna Whiston in 1967, Patricia Vanbibber in 1971 and Anette Aguire in 1981.
