Nancy and I met when I transferred from the East Coast in our Sophmore year. We lived just up the street from each other in Lafayette and ended up dating fellow “life long buddies”
from the class of ’61 whom we both ended up marrying. All four of us had a “blast” when we went to the ’61 class Senior All Night and then drove to the Tonga Room at the Fairmont Hotel afterwards. Nancy and I had lots in common as we “originated” from New Jersey and often talked about all of those “snow” stories. Nancy loved her husband and her family and always bragged about her grandchildren. I miss not being able to call her and chat about what the latest news is with our children and what the next camping adventure would be in their motor home with their Boxer.

Just got out our Aklan 1962 graduation year book and found something about Nancy that I had forgotten. She was the literary editor of the Blue Print Don Magazine. Her responsibilities included searching for donations for ads, gathering pictures of classmates and our functions and multiple editing tasks; all of which she always did thoroughly and the ending product was always great.
