Fishing on Lake Tahoe with two other people...one of those fast moving, violent wind/rain squalls that Tahoe is known for came up and capsized their boat. If I remember correctly...they were not wearing life vests. R.I.P.
Bijou, Cal. (AP) The body of one of three Contra Costa boys, missing on Lake Tahoe since Monday* was recovered yesterday three miles from Cave Rock on the Nevada side of the lake.
Identified was Ronnie Junker, 13.
Still missing are Ronnie's brother, Ralph, Jr., 16, and Daniel Selix, 14, all of Lafayette.
A search was started after the three failed to return from a boating trip.
*Monday of that week was September 1, 1958, presumably the date of death.
