Obituaries Mervyn Edward Wall Jr. (January 16, 1945 - April 4, 2011) Resident of Pleasant Hill Mervyn Edward Wall Jr. passed away on April 4th to be with his Heavenly Father. He was 66 years old. Mervyn (known to all as Merv) was raised in Lafayette, CA. He is survived by his son Mervyn III, daughter Ranae, and his sisters Jeanne Stephens and Margy Edwards. He will be deeply missed by all his nieces and nephews, and will be remembered by family and friends for his great smile and kind heart. All that knew him would speak of him as a loving, gentle, sensitive, big-hearted man that would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need.
