Robert Bruce Stirling, age 79, of Rio Vista, California passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
Robert attended San Francisco State University and the U C College of Law, San Francisco. He was admitted to the State Bar on June 26,1969. After practicing law for 20 years Robert was appointed as a judge in the Contra Costa Superior Court system. 15 years later Robert Joined the Domaine Carneros Winery. He spent the next 8 years there as a Senior Wine Educator before finally retiring for good.
Bruce was a very nice decent guy when I knew him at Acalanes. We met again at one of the reunions and he was still a nice guy. Funny how you can tell very quickly who is worth your time and who is not. Bruce was worth your time. And his career shows that. People in his court must have been treated very fairly.
