Lance Francois

Graduated from UL in 2002 in Business Management. Had a blast in college, learned a shit load, and feel that those days were the best days of my life. I started my Masters (MBA), joined military as an Officer in the Air Force and changed to go into the Marine Corps. After that, worked as an MWD Engineer offshore for Halliburton for about a year, worked as a manager at Walgreens for a year and a half and now part of the family business Recon Coatings. (My father is a Marine and was named after that).

I hated High School for the most part...it felt like a dictatorship or prison. I didn't learn crap, while I was there. I guess I didn't like to be treated like a baby, or a kid, as the teachers treated everyone. (College was much better) I saw a BIG popularity contest and a lot of fake people. Didn't care for Mrs. Cox at all and there are some teachers I would not speak to ever again nor help even if they were dying right in front of me... On the flip side, I did make some friends for life while I was there and my Track and Cross-Country days were so brutal, but so rewarding! Coach Davidson was my coach and we were very close in High School. I woudn't be where I am today if I hadn't gone through that...along with soccer, and working 35 hrs./week after school and sports.
