Ronald entered the Navy after school and served until he was forced to retire due to his health. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his son whom he was very proud of.
Ronald was retired from the Navy and worked as Security Chief at a prestigious law firm in Washington, D. C. He had stepchildren from his first marriage, a stepson from his second marriage, and a beautiful home in Upper Marlboro Maryland that he shared with his wife Margaret. Ronald died in 2009 wearing his Dallas Cowboy jacket. I spent a lot of time with him the last time he came to Lake Charles, and spoke to him on the phone regularly, about his health and eventual death. He laughed a lot about our school days.
