Thomas was born Mar 28, 1948, and passed away Oct 17, 2009 in Portland, OR. He graduated from Lake Forest High School, attended University of Illinois, and graduated from Knox College. During his career, Tom worked in the restaurant business. Preceded in death by his twin brother, Timothy Scott McMurray; his mother, Peggy McMurray and his father, Kenneth H. McMurray. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Tom was a great friend and would often see each other when I was at Western and he at Knox. Had some good parties. They were the party boys! Tried to look him up in Miami, but he had left by the time I got down here. Great memories, great stories...I miss him...Gail Allen Julius

I was very sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I missed him at the 25th reunion, where I heard that Tim had predeceased him in a very tragic accident. There was a very close group of us who hung out together during our last two years of high school, which included the McMurray twins, Bobby Stoppenbach, Kent Ackley, Tommy Gaines, my deceased brother, Andy, and of course many lovely young ladies whom we always included. I'm always telling stories about our high school shenanigans to my family, my friends, and anyone who would listen. Steve Penner
