Richard died at the VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM on Feb 17, 2009. He was born and raised in Lake Forest, IL. Richard earned a BA from Lake Forest College after serving three years in the Army (E-5). In Albuquerque, Richard was a deputy for the New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator, from 1989-1997. He most recently worked for a cab company. He was predeceased by his parents Dr Joseph R and Betsy Bennett of Lake Forest; and by his brother Robert of Northfield, IL. He is survived by his brother Joseph J Bennett of Farmers Branch, TX. Interment was in Santa Fe National Cemetery.
