We just learned from Roger Petersen that Pete Wilson passed away a while ago. Here's his obit :

Peter Wilson

May 9, 1948 - November 5, 2016

Peter Wilson was born in Lake Forest, Illinois May 9th, 1948 to Drs. Audrey and Hugh
Wilson. After a short illness Peter passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of
November 5th. 

As a young man, Peter was a natural athlete. He excelled as a star swimmer,
competed in soccer, basketball, and track. While at Lake Forest Academy, he was
regarded as an articulate student. He was asked to write press releases for the
Academy’s information service and edit LFA’s school paper “The Spectator”. Peter
graduated from the Academy in 1966 with high honors and was admitted to Washington
University’s prestigious pre-medical program in St. Louis. After receiving his
undergraduate degree from Washington University in 1970 he spent a year studying
abroad in Dijon, France.

Peter enrolled at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago where, in 1899 his grandfather, Albert Edward Wilson was one of the original faculty. While at John Marshall Peter focused on
presenting and arguing cases in its moot court program. When Peter became licensed
to practice law in Illinois, he represented people in both civil and criminal matters. Peter
moved his Law practice to Wisconsin in 1992 when he married Cynthia Barr of Fontana.
Peter was a skilled criminal defense attorney, but his true passion was working on and
racing sports cars. Peter loved: helping other people, crossword puzzles, playing
racquetball, reading, witty conversation, friends, family and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia Wilson, stepchildren Oliver deNavas
and Anabel(Nick) Weeks, and grandchildren Henry and Josephine Weeks. 

A memorial service celebrating Peter’s life will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, November 10,
2016 at Fontana Community Church, 275 Kinzie Ave, Fontana, WI 53125.
